RonaldECCLESIt is with great sadness that the family announce that Ronnie passed away peacefully, in hospital, on 14th January 2026, aged 91 years. They would like to thank the Staff of AMU 2 Aintree Hospital for the care and respect shown to Ronnie.
Reunited with loving Wife, Maggie, and his loved ones. Much loved dad of Lesley, Bernie and Barry. Loving Grandad and Great Grandad, known to the latter as Grandad Biscuit, due to the fact he give them biscuits, virtually as soon as they waked into the house. Ronnie would willingly help family with renovation work, that he described "as easy, a five minute job", usually not easy or taking five minutes. Ronnie was extremely proud of his time in the Royal Army Medical Core, during his National Service. Ronnie will be sadly missed by his family.
